I still think about getting some type of work. The reason I hesitate is cause I like to be free to travel or whatever whenever I want without having to ask for time off. Now that gas prices are down (hopefully for a while), I might just take a few trips when the weather gets better.
I'm going off-line now -- have a great week -- and watch the drunks New Year's Eve on the road if you venture out. And that goes for everybody else reading this post!!

Enjoy your "time off". If I do go out New Year's Eve it'll be to a place 3 blocks away that's an easy walk to and from.

I've moved many times in my lifetime but have to agree that the terrific sense of humor in NJ is the very best.
I so miss it.
People in other areas are nice, but many have lived in the same town all of their lives and are rather laid back and humorless compared to the wicked sense of humor most NJ and New Yorkers display.
When I lived down South, many would ask me what part of Yankeeland I was from.
I would never, ever refer to their "home land" in such a demeaning manner.
'Guess it's different strokes...

I thought you were talking about Scranton at first . No one compares to NJ people, NY comes close though.

NJ sucks. The accent is so horrific and a complete turnoff. The women have big, ratty hairdos and wear clothes from 1989.
Also note to every person in NJ-
Buy a jewelery box! You do not have to wear every ring and necklace you own at all times.
Everything looks like the Archie Bunker set.
