I would gather from your post that you are a real trophy. I would suggest that you post a picture so we can confirm.

NJ sucks. The accent is so horrific and a complete turnoff. The women have big, ratty hairdos and wear clothes from 1989.
Also note to every person in NJ-
Buy a jewelery box! You do not have to wear every ring and necklace you own at all times.
Everything looks like the Archie Bunker set.

I moved out three years ago and boy do I miss the New Jersey people! They are the best! I used to hear this thing about Southern hospitality....not true! It is all up North!

NJ people are REAL.
Hate to say it, but we're a smart bunch too. I call it like I see it. Don't hate.
Can't really put my finger on it, but we're 'on top of things' so to speak. Not sure how to explain that. It's like we've been there and done that attitude and KNOW what to do in all situations we're confronted with. Nothing shocks us, we take it like we've been there before. Confident. Level headed... know what we want, fast paced because we want it that way.
Ummmm, we're awesome. ha! lol
Seriously, I can go anywhere and not really feel like I've been left behind because I'm from NJ. I'm not sure if every state can say that.
Sure the above are generalizations, but hey, this is the internet and I'm a tough guy! lol

Well I wouldn't go that far Besides I see you're in Florida, which isn't exactly the south...it's kinda neutral mostly. I've been to alot of the south and in my opinion southern hospitality is the best! But I did miss NJ a bit when I was there. Now with being in Philly though it really makes me appreciate NJ!

Gotta love the cockiness too
But I say much of those same things all the time as I'm always comparing to my NJ standards. I've been called snobby but who doesn't have standards? Some may be lower than others but everyone has them.

I think when non-NJ people think of NJ personas like Bill Parcells come to mind. Fiesty, no-nonsense, and results driven. I was reading some of Wayne Chrebet autobiography. Talks about the the traits of Bergenites. Has anyone read the Chrebet book and seen this particular section. I think he hits the nail on the head.
