...not to be nick-picky but De La Salle is from Concord CA.

I used to follow them when I lived In San Francisco but not now.

don bosco prep won, 23-21:

De La Salle vs. Don Bosco Prep-Ramsey (NJ): Live blog - East Bay Prep Sports - Covering Contra Costa County and beyond

good for them, and way to represent on the national stage. between don bosco, bergen catholic, st. joe's (montvale), and (sometimes) st. peter's prep (jersey city), north jersey has some powerhouse football programs - and that's not even counting our public high schools.

now if rutgers could only recruit some more of the top players coming out of these local powerhouse football programs rather than letting them go to schools out of state, maybe it could become a big-time program someday. same goes for its basketball teams - there are so many great street ballers that come out of northern nj/nyc, yet rutgers always has a tough time getting these guys to play for their program.

Don Bosco kinda dropped off in the 90's how come?

Was it the coaching, or were they unable to steal the talent they wanted
