Default Monmouth/Ocean County towns "missing" from City Data

I'm posting the townships that appear to be missing from this site, when in reality they're just listed under different names. Subsections of towns are used for census purposes--they're called "unincorporated areas," or "census designated places." This may have been obvious to some of you already, but if I was confused, someone else probably is, too.

The "missing" township is listed with the name(s) of its unincorporated area(s) following:

Monmouth County

Aberdeen: Cliffwood Beach, Strathmore
Atlantic Highlands borough: Navesink
Howell: Ramtown
Manalapan: Yorketown
Marlboro: Morganville
Ocean: Oakhurst, Wanamassa
Old Bridge: Brownville, Madison Park, Laurence Harbor, and Old Bridge
Middletown: Belford, Fairview, Leonardo, Lincroft, North Middletown, Port Monmouth
Neptune: Ocean Grove, Shark River Hills
Wall: Allenwood, West Belmar

Ocean County

Barnegat: Barnegat, Ocean Acres
Berkeley: Holiday City-Berkeley, Holiday City South, Holiday Heights, Silver Ridge
Dover: Dover Beaches North, Dover Beaches South, Holiday City South, Toms River
Jackson: Vista Center
Lacey: Forked River
Lakewood: Lakewood, Leisure Village, Leisure Village East
Little Egg Harbor: Mystic Island
Long Beach: Northern Beach Haven
Manchester: Cedar Glen Lakes, Cedar Glen West, Crestwood Village, Leisure Knoll,
Leisure Village West-Pine Lake (Park?), Pine Ridge at Crestwood
Ocean: Waretown
Plumsted: New Egypt
Stafford: Beach Haven West, Manahawkin, Ocean Acres
Wayne: Little Falls, Wayne

Yes, Englishtown is the borough around which Manalapan township lies. The problem is that "Manalapan" isn't listed on here. Using a borough to extrapolate a surrounding area's statistics doesn't seem as accurate as using the smaller census designated area within the township itself. That is why one must look up "Yorketown" rather than Manalapan if you want to see ANY info regarding the township itself. This confused me until I read about unincorporated areas. I didn't understand City-Data's methodology.

How did you like the development, by the way?

Navesink is not in Atlantic Highlands. It is part of Middletown Township. Navesink uses an Atlantic Highlands mailing address.

I wish they could also add in some of the missing towns from Mercer County. Half of the townships from Mercer County aren't listed, and some of the towns for Mercer County that are listed, aren't towns, they are just crossroads. It's very frustrating...I would like to see stats for my town, so I could compare it to other towns.

Christina, check out this thread I started awhile ago to remedy that problem:

Mercer towns "missing" from City Data

Are there still a lot missing from the list when you go by the unincorporated area name instead?

I didn't look but has anyone mentioned this in the "about the forum" area. I noticed Atlantic Highlands and Navesink missing when I searched for it yesterday.
