Default why is deptford nj not highly regarded?

I live in deptford and love it but from reading this i dont see much praise. It is like living in the country yet so convenient. it is close to 295 and walt whitman bridge. It is 20 mins from Philly center city and 45 mins from atlantic city/beach. the mall is right here with plenty strip malls. yet there are so much greenery. I heard the schools are pretty good. So is this place just highly underrated or is there something I am not aware of?

The are some bad sections, and those overshadow the good.

Deptford is a nice place to shop. It's a pretty nice place as far as I can tell. I don't live there though. I'm not sure about the crime rate, but every city has bad areas. Deptford does not seem or look especially seedy.

Well, way back in the day we had a lot of farming in this state. We still do- for example- Hammonton is the Blueberry capitol of the world. We do pride ourselves in our Jersey tomatoes and corn.

Most farmers have since sold their land to devlopers. This has gone on for almost 40 years. There are still areas that are farmed- just not as much.

I lived in Deptford for 6 years and liked it but the schools aren't the best, our house was broken into and the traffic was bad. It is very affordable and close to any store or restaurant you'd ever want to go to.
