I'm glad you do have a sense of humor. After posting I wasn't sure if you'd laugh or get offended.
The description you gave, yes, that's about right, I bet he'd crap his pants!!! lmao
Heck, if you're playing Melissa, hubby & I will be there. She rocks in concert!

I have to run over and have a chat with them tonight : ))

Well keep us posted. Sounds like they are up to something, maybe letting him work then when he's done get the township involved so he has to rip it all out.
Not nuts about the bushes but what are your choices? I'd rather look at those or those a$$ juniper bushes my neighbor planted to hide our boat then what he put up as "fence"..
I'd rather see a False Cypress, those are nice.
Not nuts about Arborvitae but they grow fast IIRC
Here's an article on "Living Walls" as Privacy Fences pages 3 & 4 give plant names
oogle search results privacy bushes
I used to work for a plant grower, you might be able to get some ideas by looking at their plant list. They do not sell to the public, but it will give you an idea of what you can get

I have to be careful with what I plant there... minimal space and I have other trees I just planted as well. Plus I can't have long roots... very close to the pool
I spoke with my neighbor..the one next door who got alot more of this ugly fence than I did... seems the guy who sold the house gave the new guy some bad advice! The new owner told him he would speak to us about his plans but the old neighbor said "F them..it's your property, do what you want!"... bad advice as he just made enemies with 3 neighbors! Well I guess I'll just have to wait and see what he does and then add on my side to hide those ugly tree stumps!

He's spreading some bad karma & it will eventually come back to him.
Same thing my new neighbor is doing to me. I'm sure you know what juniper roots are like and how they will come all over my yard because I water & feed my roses/gardens. Those suckers will also be on the surface so I'll have to trip over them as well.
Hope he knows I'm cutting what ever roots come on our side. We dug a new garden over the weekend, I made sure to pull roots up to his sod so that he sees it. Those junipers should be dead in 2-3 years.
The screwed up thing is apparently our boat bothers him but he doesn't think that the tree that was cut down, leaving a 4ft tall stump with weeds growing around it to block it, or his trash can and 3 dead junipers that he took from us isn't bothering us. Like I want to look at his dead stuff. I'd rather look at Charlie Bass tracker then his yard.

Ok...today's news: B&C Told the workers not to step foot on our property until the homeowner comes over to speak with her! He just arrived home so I'm sure poop is going to hit the fan!!! Now me... I prefer to seek revenge! So far..his posts are between 9 and 10-feet high! Twp. rule is anything over 8-feet requires approval and a permit! I'm sitting back and waiting to see if they cut them shorter or not. If not, "hi ho, hi ho..it's off the farfenuggen twp. I go"

Sounds like a plan, but will Fluffernutter Twp. actually do anything about it? I know they wouldn't give a rats a** in Oxford.

Ok... latest and greatest: I had to go to the twp. because I have a couple of outstanding permits to clear up in the event we finally get a buyer. So there I am..sitting in front of our const. secretary asking what I need to do.. and in comes who??? Our neighbor : ) He could not see me but I could here him complaining to the town clerk about his neighbors giving him a hard time about his fence and threatening to call the police if the worker's step on our property! I looked at our const. sec. and pointed at myself with a big **** eating grin on my face... she smiled then stood up and stood behind me so that he couldn't see me sitting there! Basically, the town told him that if he has issues he needs to come back on monday night to talk to the zoning official... yadi, yadi! So once I was done getting spanked for my over-due inspections.. I pulled in the driveway and there he was..my neighbor! First thing out of my mouth was..."we never threatened to call the cops - we just said that if you want to come on our property that the homeowner needs to come and see us first."... anyway... it's all smoothed out - we still have to live with that butt ugly fence but he promised to landscape our corner first! He also has a ton of friends that he's trying to convince to buy our house . I'm also getting a discount on any plants I want if I decide I still want to landscape the area on this side of the BU Fence. See..had he done this in the first place...all would have been great! He did apologize and explained that he just got married..they just got back from theri honeymoon and the fence guy had an opening so he took it before he had a chance to chat with us. So... the end result is - I will let him live

How unfortunate....we were hoping for some blood and gore, Wiley!
I did enjoy the part of both of you ending up at the twp at the same time, and hime whining...lol.
Glad you guys got everything sorted out.
