I'm looking to get a one-way Car Service from JFK to Central NJ for a trip I'm planning in a few months. Can anyone recommend any limo services and if so, the price ranges?

If there is a local taxi service I would call them. Check the phone book. When I used to go from South Orange there was a local taxi service that used regular cars (as opposed to yellow cabs) that operated locally. Because they used regular cars I didn't even know they existed until someone recommended them to me. I used them for a the next few years and they always had the cheapest prices.

we just had friends come this route, it was a pain in the ****.
They ended up getting a taxi from JFK to the port Authority-$45 and then the trans bridge to Clinton-$25. It worked out to be the cheapest and quickest way.

It'll be a bit pricey but you may want to look at either King Limo or A-1 Limo. I've had good experience with both.

And I do agree with clevedark, you will wish you were flying out of EWR.

To close this out, I ended up renting a car one-way. Pricey, but it worked out.

For what it's worth, it was a quick drive home, and as the route I wanted was only out of JFK on that carrier, it worked out. Good flight. (JetBlue).

I usually fly out of EWR but I've wanted to try JetBlue. Liked it, will fly again.

EWR flights are so overpriced. When I lived in JC, I always flew out of JFK or LaGuardia. Flights in NYC were always alot cheaper than Newark. Too bad cause Jersey City was so close to Newark. Never made any sense! I always took the path/subway/bus to JFK or Laguradia.

And fares could rise even more.

AirTran and Continental swapped gates
AirTran, Continental to swap slots at D.C., NYC airports - USATODAY.com
thus AirTran will no longer be servicing Newark.

No Southwest, no AirTran, no Virgin America, and minimal JetBlue offerings from EWR -- essentially no LCC service, and with reaching JFK being such as hassle, it could lead to Continental, well let's say taking advantage and pricing high fares on many domestic routes.

Fares from Philly vary (like US Airways PHL-BOS nonstop runs for $500) but flights where Southwest competes, tend to be a lot cheaper. I think if one is along the Turnpike route under exit 10, getting to PHL is another viable option, and one can price out the flights from both EWR and PHL on different airlines to see the best flight.
