Sorry - nicolem! Actually all we need to do to prevent an economic meltdown is have every man, woman, and child in the US send in $33,000 to the IRS. The national debt would be paid off and we could get back to "normal". See? Wasn't that simple?

I'm still curious to know how NJ will weather this meltdown. Lots of commuters are tied to these firms, and I bet a lot of them will have to move away to find work.

Depends on how many are let go....I'm sure many live in Hoboken, Weehawken and downtown Jersey City

Well it's going to have a ripple effect, that's for sure!!
On another financial matter...kudos to the administartor of Fannie & Fred..he/she will not be honoring those golden parachute pay outs to the big wigs...about time some of those jack azzes felt the pain as well
