Try N.J. Manufacturers Ins.,Co. (800 232-6600) Depending on who your employer is, you might be eligible to get them. I've been a customer for years and would highly rate them. Their rates are probably the most reasonable in the state. I pay aprox. $5,100 a year for 5 cars (all 2002 and newer) have full coverage on all of them (500k collision, liability etc.), and have 4 people on the policy with 2 of the drivers being under 25. The best part is you get money back at the end of the year. Last year I think our refund was about $420. Give them a call.

NJCURE is cheap and good, I had them for several years. Go to njcure.com for a quote.

Mercury Insurance gave me a much cheaper rate than GEICO. When I asked GEICO why they said it was because of their 24 hour roadside assistance which is "free" (meaning you pay for it as part of your premium.)

If you or a parent has served in the armed forces, you should check out USAA. I have membership through my wife's father, a Vietnam vet. Our car insurance rate is lower than the competition by a few hundred a year.

Best price I found was with First Trenton.

NJM definitely. Best rates and fabulous service. If you can't get into NJM, I'd go with Geico. I had them for years while living in Manhattan and they were fabulous.

NJM has great prices from what I have heard, but 1. you have to work for participating employers to be eligible, and 2. just to get a quote, you have to fill out an application that is about the size of War and Peace. At least, that's what happened to me when I tried to get a quote a little over a year ago.
