Well in my previous post I said I was counting the days till I can come back to Jersey. Well maybe I wished to hard. I got the dreaded phone call, Gramps passed away.

I'm leaving Thursday. I hope NJ has gas, there seems to be a shortage here..

Beside's saying goodbye to Gramps, he was 84. Had a good life, wasn't sick long, went fast and peaceful. We are coming hungry, ready for the best pizza and Chinese food you can only get in Jersey. We have a week to get our fill. Oh and how can I forget "the diner"! Gramps loved the diner! He even worked in one once.

I'm coming home, If you see me with the NC license plate wave.

While the circumstances are not ideal for a return trip, my condolences, welcome home. Still plenty of grease to go around. Make sure to help yourself to some.

So sorry for your loss. It's really not great circumstances to come home to.
In any case, welcome home and go have a meal in a diner, your gramps would like that, I'm sure.
