Sparta is a nice town, but that is going to be a harsh commute to Franklin lakes.
You can either go down 15, take 80 east, 287 north, and then hop onto 208 or you could go north from Sparta on main st, take 23 south, 287 north, and then 208 south. Either way its going to take you quite a while, I'm thinking 45 minutes under the best of circumstances and probably closer to an hour with traffic (if not longer!) If you want to find a similar town to Sparta, in that it has cheaper houses and is not so built up like the rest of North Jersey, which is closer to Franklin lakes, then might I suggest you look into towns like Ringwood or West Milford. |
