You're not missing much . Highpoint State Park is kind of cool... if the monument is open - you can see all three surrrounding States - PA, NJ and NY.

I agree, I thought everyone has been there! Lets see in NYC, I must have done most of the sites. Of course the Empire State Building, as I once worked there. The WTC I once took the kids there to see Santa when they were little. I also went to a wedding there at Windows f the World. I've been on the Circle line, and also boat to Bear Mountains. I 've been to the Village, bought knockoffs at Chinatown, Explored Soho and ate in Little Italy many times. I love Ferrara's . I've also toured the Stock exchange, and worked right where the statue is at 30 wall at a bank that has since changed names. I've rode the Staten Island Ferry. I've been uptown to the cloisters at w191st . I've eaten at the Historic Chelsea hotel on W23rd st. When I was single I lived in a pre-war building on 24th st called London Terrace Towers. It was since gone Condo. It wad a huge pool in the basement, and doorman. I had 3 roomates in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apt there. I also have been to Broadway and have seen plays there. I've been to rockefeller center and skated on the ice there. I've also been in Trump Tower. I've been to the Metropolitan opera there also.
I've been Yankee and Shea Stadium. I've also cruised out of NYC 3 times.
I've also taken the tram to RoOsevelt Island.
I've been to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from the NJ side. I've been to Hoboken, Liberty Science Center, Great Adventure, Atlantic City, LBI, Cape May, Seaside, Belmor, Land of Make Believe, Wild West City, Pt Pleasant, Popcorn Zoo, Keansberg, lol, Historic Smithsville, Waterlou and Wheaton Village. I've been to Lambertville and New Hope.
I've visited the Creamridge Winery. I've been to most parts of north Jersey but honestly I have never heard of the township Wiley lives in.
I've been west, have family in Rockaway, I've been up to the Pocanos at that border of NJ.
I love to explore so there is probably other places that I can't think of now.

You never went to Seaside? I guess you never played hookie. Sheesh !! Whenever we skipped out of school (and it was often) we ran for Seaside and it seemed like most NJ High Schools did the same.

After Asbury Park began to die, Seaside was the place to be. Wow O Wow what memories lie on and below that broadwalk.

Local local? Like...within a certain proximity to where I stay?

There are a few reservations I'd like to visit, as well as stores/towns, etc. I've always wanted to go to the Edison museum, too, just haven't gotten a chance to, yet
