Spring Lake is a great place, not like it was in the old days that made it famous but it's still the jewel of the Jersey Shore.

Oooh, tough one. If money were no object AND the towns all had awesome school systems...I'd say somewhere on the Delaware too, probably Lambertville. However, narrowing down is hard, so I'm going to say anywhere that has awesome fall foliage and great pumpkin picking farms!!!!! And a second house somewhere down the shore of course, right on the beach.

Spring Lake
Princeton
Millburn
Mountain Lakes
Lambertville
Those are the ones that come to mind and I am fortunate enough to live in one of those towns.

I like the topic.
I wouldn't buy a huge mansion that would be pointless for walking around and to have an area full of snobs. but a nice home with a neighborly feel and thats diverse.
If i had a wife and kids then..
I would choose a nice house in Montclair.
Others would be...
Hasbrouck Heights
Teaneck
Paramus
Hackensack
Wood-Ridge
And other towns i'd live it up wouldnt be in Nj but in Queens or Brooklyn.
But when i move out in a less then 2 years i'll wanna live in
Jersey city
Bayonne
Hillside

i can't believe ppl are worrying about where other people wanna live.
i mean i would understand if it was a place someone had to live and hates it.. but when a person chooses a town they wanna live in, why bother complaining about it. just because someone else wants to move somewhere dosn't mean you appear there also.
