My brother lives in Califon. He has quite a few acres with those views of the rolling hills you speak of. His views are forever looking across the South Branch of the Raritan River and all the rolling green hills that rise from the river.

I would have to choose the same area if I had to live in NJ again. Maybe Tewksbury, I always love it there.

If money was no object I would choose Deal. Maybe even Ocean Grove.

That's just so shallow! Come on..pick a town with character..charm... not wealth!
For me..if I stayed in NJ... I may want a nice place on the delaware over in Lambertville..maybe New Hope. Just feels like a nice laid back relaxing town! Or maybe a nice ocean front
It has alot of character, like new england, barns, fields, woods, rolling hills, its perfect! I dont think its material, I think its a beautiful area, the woods are different, there is a meeting of North and South Jersey woods so the landscape is very different. There are no brush under the trees in the woods. Its quite beautiful! Not a lot of sumac meaning the land was not stripped or clear cut. I find some of the hills with beautiful views and I think there is a quaint New England feel to that area. I mean if I said Princeton, Milburn like some people have said here would that not be materialistic? How about Saddle River, Alpine, I mean the question was IF MONEY WAS NO OBJECT!!!!! What the hell am I suppost to say, Frankin, sussex county to be with the nascar and keystone light drinkers???

Please also note that alot of the areas I mentioned you cant even see the house they are all hidden, so they dont want to be seen, thats not a sign of Materialist!!!!

Some people really think thats a beautiful area with all the barns and fields and woods. ITs like Sussex COunty with out the clear cut!!!!

by the way Lambertville and New Hope are all shopping and eating, where as the towns I picked there really is no downtown to shop so who is MATERIAL??? The question was if MONEY was no object, so I think it starts off Materialist, I mean who the hell would say Newark, I like these towns, I like the area, its not the houses its the land. I think it has tons of character and thats my opinion. I think the question is basically a materialist question to a degree. Thanks for you input, I will respect your opinion and think about what you have said. I dont know the people in that area, so maybe they are snobs. I am open minded but for now thats where I would move!!!

Since we're dreaming, I'll take two. One in Flemington and one in Spring lake. You are all invited.

Not a town so much as just the northwestern corner of the state, close to High Point State Park and the Appalachian Trail.

Yes I got to take a ride out to Tweksbury, I have never been out that way. However read my post above the land is beautiful, its never been clear cut, this makes very pristine woods! I also think because North and SOuth Jersey meet at this point and the landscape has a majestic quality to it.
