I completely and totally agree with you on the Lake Hopatcong, Spring Lake, Avon by the Sea thing.

Even though I lived in Jersey City the first 5 years of my life I dont think I would ever want to live in that crap hole again.

Give me a nice home in Kings Cove or maybe a home on Raccoon or Halsey Island....maybe just outside of River Styx and I will never ask anymore from life.

I'm just so at peace there. And at peace is what it is all about to me.

I would have to choose the same area if I had to live in NJ again. Maybe Tewksbury, I always love it there.

If money was no object I would choose Deal. Maybe even Ocean Grove.
LOVE the Tewksbery area too!

LOL - pre 9/11 I always used to say I wanted a condo in Battery Park City and a home in Spring Lake. My family used to say "Good that you have cheap taste!" LOL

I've always felt that area is rustic but in a very classy way, not a hicky way.

Gotta disagree with you on that one... spent 21 yrs in JC and while I have fond memories, I wouldn't go back for anything.
