NJ town you would choose to live in...
if money were no object?
I'd love to have a place in Spring Lake. I have always loved that town! But I'm sure it would be annoying in the summer!

I'd have a BIIIIIIIIIG farm somewhere near Lambertville, maybe East Amwell or Delaware.

well, for me it's more than just money. i'd love to live on LBI but with my kids, i don't want them going to school nor live there year round. so if money were no object AND i didn't have school aged kids, that's where I'd be.

I would live in the same town in Cape May County (or a neighboring town), but I would want my home to be right on the bay instead of a block and a half away.

Id be perfectly happy living almost anywhere in Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Morris counties. I gotta stay within 30-40 min of NYC, I gotta, toooo slow everywhere else. As long as I could keep my house, add at least a 2 car garage and a detached Workshop/Garage (to wrench on my motorcycles and cars). Put that on 5-10 acres of land and you couldnt wipe the grin off my face. But then again, I only have 1/2 of what I described now and I'm perfectly happy so......
But thats me, factor in my wife and kids and blah blah blah...life... and then it becomes wherever the taxes are lowest, the schools are best, and the commute is 5-10 min and to hell with everything else.

That's just so shallow! Come on..pick a town with character..charm... not wealth!
For me..if I stayed in NJ... I may want a nice place on the delaware over in Lambertville..maybe New Hope. Just feels like a nice laid back relaxing town! Or maybe a nice ocean front
