Unhappy Not Good

The government has intervened and changed all the rules. Now they're going to back up bad paper that never should have been issued. The Gov will now buy all the "bad" homes form the banks and sell them on the cheap thus screwing up the regular real estate market. Nothing more than socialism bordering on Communism. Bad. Bad.

Agreed.

There's a church around the corner and down the street from where I live. One more day in the red and I might actually go there because it's gonna take both a prayer AND a miracle to rescue this sorry economy. My Roth IRA and 401k are toast right now. It doesn't matter to me that I don't need this for another 40 years or so - it's agonizing to see $ of my own that I invested going down the can.

Exactly.... There is also a little something called hope, which I believe days like today offer.

Sorry Wiley, I'd rep ya if I could.

Hoping this helps sell your house sooner too.

1 Good day at the market erases all the other bad days? C'mon..Get your head out of the clouds. Stocks normally gain ahead of bad day because thats when all the penny pinchers scoop up the losses at low cost. The banks in the US are a disaster. The entire financial system is a wreck. I pulled my money out of the market awhile ago. I can earn more and have more fun playing blackjack. Invest in other commodites like gold/oil/and treasury.
