I think it is time America takes care of America. All the food, drugs, resources we give to other countries needs to end.
When we don't produce enough of these things to give to the other areas of the world WE BUY them from other sources to GIVE to them.
A lot of these countries are very rich and just choose not to help their own people.
I'd love to see this change and have us take care of us and only us for a change.

I couldn't agree more but "we" are part of the problem! We tend to buy whatever is the cheapest... without looking at where it was made/manufactured! If Americans start buying only American made products, this will be a moot post! But most Americans don't want to pay double for something in order to keep an American Employed! We need to be the ones to turn things around...

You want to be really sick....read this article. The government is now including FOREIGN banks in the bail out and will be buying their bad debt with our tax dollars. Seriously I feel ill:

"Foreign banks, which were initially excluded from the plan, lobbied successfully over the weekend to be able to sell the toxic U.S. mortgage debt owned by their American units to the Treasury, getting the same treatment as United States banks."

The market only jumped so high because short selling has been halted and all the shorts had to cover their position.
