Can anyone recommend a Air Duct cleaning company to me? Nothing really wrong with the air quality of the house but we just moved in a house for a few months, and it looks like the previous owner have not even changed the air filters for ages. So I just want to do a routine cleaning since I am a 2 years old in the house.

Most are rip offs, be careful. If you are serious about it, go with an environmental firm that does air duct cleaning, mold remediation, etc. Don't go with the guys that put ads in your local paper. A properly done job can cost $400-$500. A poor job or a scam will advertise $150 whole house or something and then tack on much more when they get out there or they do a surface treatment.

My house had horrible filth in the system due to the prior owner's negligence and the air quality sucked. In fact I even got sick within the first 2 weeks in the house. But after I had everything cleaned out correctly no more issues, dramatic increase in indoor air quality.

yeah, i know about the ones that advertise in those coupon mailer. They charge extra on returns, opening extra access vent, etc... it will end up $400 to $500 regardless.

I might try to get a environmental company to do it. Is ServPro any good?
