LOL I had Ramen for dinner last night, and I stopped smoking since 7 dollars/pack is not a necessity while being unemployed.

$7.00 a pack!!!! Are you kidding me? I couldn't believe they were $6.25 down the shore this summer. I just about fell over to pay that. They are less than $4.00 here in NC. Often less. That is just crazy!! Did they just go up?

WOW!!! Most of the name brands are around $35.00 a carton and can be as low as $32.00 when they are on sale. I can't even wrap my head around the $7.00 a pack thing. That would be $2,500 a year for a pack a dayer. This would cut deeply into my red wine budget
Fortunately, I quit. I had started again after a 13 year hiatus. Damn teachers tought the kids about the dangers of smoking and they guilted me into quitting. I hear it's bad for ya!!! Miss it every day, but my kids are happy and that is what matters most.
Oh yeah, then there is the TV commercial with the 25 year old girl who lost her voice box.

Funny, my hubby loves home made pea soup. I never make it.......
But, oneday I talked the twins into helping me with the task. They kinda liked learning how those bagged peas could become the "favorite soup" ........ The process was exciting to them.
Put the left over ham in there and all......But, as usual, it was all hubby's because neither them nor I thought we might like to have it.....
There was lots of frozen pea soup for a long time.

Well, I just did fold and buy a pack of Parliament Lights. My family and my girlfriends family are meeting for the first time on Friday.
