Cherry Hill - Jewish Community & Schools advice needd (public schools, living)

Hi,
Originally from PA, and living for years in Israel, my husband and I recently decided to move to Cherry Hill NJ. We are somewhere between conservative-secular and I was wondering about the Jewish communities in CH. Are there "all kinds" or is it mostly Orthadox? Do most of the children attend private Jewish schools or is there a portion who attend the public schools? We have two children, 10 and 13 and from all I've been reading I understand that the public schools are actually very good in CH. I'd really appreciate any advice and/or tips,

Hello,

I live in Cherry Hill and although I know there is a very large Jewish population in Cherry Hill, I do not know how the population is broken down as far as orthodox vs. reform, etc. I do believe there is a good mixture, though. Cherry Hill schools are very good.

I would suggest you contact the Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill. Very nice people there and I am sure they could answer your questions.

Cherry Hill is a very family-oriented suburban area so no matter where you move in Cherry Hill, it's bound to be kid/family friendly. I don't have kids myself, so I can't give too much specific advice. I can tell you that the Cherry Hill Library is probably the nicest library I've ever stepped foot into...it's a beautiful place.

There's lots to do in CH and TONS of shopping and restaurants. Also, CH is very close to Philly so there's never a shortage of things to do.
