Looking for a place to have a 4 year old birthday besides the My Gym, chuck e cheese route. Trying not to break the bank and my house is just a little too small because we have a lot of family to include. Any suggestions welcome.

I don't know if it would be too far for you, but I recently went to a party at Monster Golf (indoor glow in the dark mini golf) in Fairfield NJ. I LOVED it. It's pretty reasonable and you can bring your own food if you like. I may have my daughter's there next:

I also highly recommend Little Scoops. I've had a few parties at the Closter location, but there is one in Cranford as well

I've been VERY happy w/ them and so have my kids, which is why they always want to go back there to have their party!

Lastly I believe there is a Color Me Mine in Summit... and they are really neat too.
