Default friend of mine works for a small business and here is what they did

they are slow, slow, slow, so in order to preserve everyones job and health bennies, because they all love the place about 20 employees. They banded together to all cut their hours so no one gets laid off. Each employee said they would take a day off until things pick up saving the company a lot of money. Boss said no need for that just yet but was thrilled that they cared about everyone!! Good idea HUH?? This business same days are busy and some are slow. But overall the people banded together! was not like *********, you have only been here 2 years me 10. Its kinda nice.

i love stories like that. reminds me when my MIL was in a horrific car accident several years ago - her friends/co-workers donated their vacation time so she could recover without worrying about losing pay - the donations totaled somewhere around 9-12 mos.

restores your faith in humanity, ya know? we could use more stories like this, especially now.

Well, I have you know that at least IMOPE, I worked at a company where I'd say 80% were women and it was HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Talk about cat fights and b*tching & moaning, needless to say I didn't last long there, I left for another company after only 3 months.
