Smile Memories of Long Beach Island

I thought it might be fun to share some memories of Long Beach Island and take my mind off the stock marker LOL
For me, it was such a great family oriented place. Our big treat was to eat at
Widas. Is it still there?

Nope it's been turned into a NYC style restaurant/hotel - Daddy O's

I haven't been there yet, looks nice, heard it's a little snooty though.

The building is still there, but it's been remodeled, new owner. It's called Daddy O daddyohotel.com. I've been there a couple of times; it's very nice. The building still has the same shape, no crazy additions or anything; it's just not green any more I ate there a couple of times with my friend and her family. It was her dad's favorite LBI restaurant.

Every year we would play miniature golf at Flamingo in Surf City. It's still my favorite mini golf course. I haven't been there in a few years. Can you believe that neither my teenage son nor my husband want to play mini golf with me? There was also a trampoline attraction not far away. That was another thing that we got to do on the big vacation.
