You know, I outta smack both of you for even having thoughts like that. Times are tough, yes but we all are, some worse than others but we all are going thru hard times. You can't allow yourself to be defeated, life is to beautiful. Bills are just a part of life and will always be there, but if you think about it, take all the stuff that are unimportant and it all comes down to the people you love and that love you. I choose to be happy and to battle on. Remember, after you pay all your bills, what's left? those you love.
Alex, I could not agree more, believe me... just a weak moment where I needed to let it all out. After that I went back in my house (my house...still thank God) and my little pooch licked my feet (the Dog worships me, seriously something wrong with him, but I love him). Yes, the fridge is not as stocked as it used to be, but there is food. And running hot water, and a warm bed. I kissed the kids good night and THANKED GOD for them and that they are healthy and basically happy. Went to bed knowing I would not see DH again, because he'll be working until 1:30 or so, but grateful that at least he is working now, and though he ticks me off regularly, I do love him and he loves me - and 18 yrs later we're still together, unlike many of my other friends... so it's not all bad. It's scary, it's hard right now, but not all bad.
