Todd - you are right.
I still think w/o the "bailout" we would have seen even worse unemployment by now...and that was worrisome.... is worrisome....
I wish I didn't have soccer practice tonight..I'd love to do 5 martini's before the Debate.... while I can still afford to!

Its only a bandaid to stop from the massive bleeding right now. Bailing out Freddie and Fannie did not work. Bailing at Bear Sterns did not work. Bailing out all the other banks did not work. Throwing money at the problem solves nothing. These clowns in charge have no clue on what to do. They are like short order chiefs running around trying to put out each fire too late. They are never ahead of the problem, rather behind. Its like watching 'dumb and dumber' the movie with ron and his sidekick. Also be aware that one of them worked for a major bank before. Ofcourse he wants his own to get paid well at the cost of millions of tax payers.

I have not heard of any massive lay-offs from wall street
Have you heard of any pay reductions for the employees?

They were saying on 1010 wins today that they expect 165,000 jobs to be lost in NYC over the next 2 years.
