Default Keansburg a great town

The intellgent buyer when looking for a house in the bayshore will talk to people in the town of Keansburg that live here or do business here. They won't listen to a few losers that do not have any knowledge. Again everyone I know would laugh in your face for you slandering this town compared to other bayshore towns... You ought to be a comedian! They will find out for themselves how friendly and how safe this town is. They will find out that the great quality of life here is comparable to other bayshore towns. Anyone looking for a house can use this helpful site MonmouthOceanMLS.com

I will ignore and not read postings of false information that are totally ridiculous!

Gotta get ready for the fireworks tonite on the Keansburg Beach, every monday nite with live bands and good music! Gotta love it! God Bless America!

THE TRUTH HURTS SO MUCH !!!!

I'll repeat this again for you... I hope everyone else is reading this too. If you look at the MLS for homes for sale as of today. There are homes listing for under $160,000 in Middletown. You can find cheap homes just like Keansburg in the other bayshore towns as well! I am not making this up, its up there for sale, geeze! I won't lie, if I did I would lose the respect. Look it up, go ahead, monmouthoceanmls.com. Keansburg doesnt have trailer park homes! Lots of trailer park homes in Hazlet, and I see in Union Beach too. Trailer parks homes in Hazlet as cheap as 25g. Drive thru route 36 and you will see all the beautiful trailer homes! quite trashy, and take a look at the boarded up businesses along there as well between Union Beach and Hazlet. Wow, you get so offended, you guys just lost respect on this site! Keansburg has its shoddy areas as well! All the bayshore towns have there share of negatives and positives! They bayshore consists of all great towns! Stop getting off on putting Keansburg down because by doing that your putting the whole bayshore down! You really need help, unbelievable.

Now I understand that Keansburg is going through a redevelopment stage which should make things better if they are indeed as bad as people are saying.

Also can anybody tell me what the high school there is like? as I have teenage dauther that will be attending school.

Any info you can give us would be a big help. Thanks all.
Keansburg would be a great move! There are some riff raffs in other bayshore towns. I definitely would not move to North Middletown, Hazlet is full of trailer parks, and Union Beach looks very "dilapidated". I have a friend who just moved here to Keansburg, a computer engineer, his daughter loves it so much better in Keansburg than Old Bridge. I heard the school needs upgrades though, and from what I hear its in the works and I also heard there are excellent teachers. She's going on to college with honors. Keansburg has to be doing something right!

Hazlet is full of trailer parks???

They must be very expensive trailers. The median home price is $388,000

I don't know enough between Old Bridge and Hazlet. If I had the choice between the two, I would choose Hazlet.

All I know is I like Keansburg better than Hazlet. Not putting Hazlet down, I just like Keansburg better. There are a bunch of trailer parks all along route 36, could be part of Union Beach and Hazlet, with a lot of boarded up businesses between both towns. Looks trashy, should just bulldoze 95% of those towns and start over, but I am not as angry as summer who wants to bulldoze 90% of Keansburg... shes a piece of work! All the bayshore towns are great regardless, the positives outweight all the negatives in all the bayshore towns

Hey I love all the bayshore towns. You got some freaks on this site giving false information about Keansburg. Hazlet has some trailer homes as cheaps as 25g, but hey I know Keansburg has there share of cheap shoddy homes too. And there are homes in Keansburg selling up to 600g on the market. All the bayshore towns have there own great qualities! Hazlet is a beautiful town too! All the bayshore towns are a great place to live including Keansburg thats all I'm saying

I'm not familiar with the school system but I'm sure there are web sites making comparisons. Monmouth Beach is much nicer but much more expensive. Long Branch is a mix of both. Good luck.
Monmouth Beach is very nice, but Long Branch is a bad town consisting of high crime! Keansburg is a safe town, but old beach town thats chaging for the better! Keansburg is less expensive just like the rest of the bayshore, all basically comparable in home prices. I call the bayshore the undiscovered pearl, you can't go wrong in any of the towns!

I am far from a freak, the only way you seem to be able to come to grips with your move to keansburg is by putting down other towns, sure the part of hazlet closest to keansburg is shabby but that is because of it's proximity to the 'burg, and sure N. middleown is shabby but again that is because of it's proximity to the 'burg, by the way did you know that N middletown was known as e keansburg but was changed so the stigma of being associated with keansburg could be removed, even the part of holmdel near keansburg is a bit shabby, the bottom line is that the'burg is a dump regardless of any spin you try to put on it. And anyone who disagrees with your view of that dump is not a freak

All people have pride of there hometown and I have mine too, and many would agree with me wholeheartedly, friends, neighbors, businesses and people living in Keansburg all feel that Keansburg is the best bayshore town in quality! All the other bayshore towns do not have the great amemities that Keansburg has! Union Beach is a complete dump, people would be better off living in there cars! Gosh do something about all the boarded up stores on route 36 and thats on the Hazlet side by Union Beach. Maybe if it was next to Keansburg it would look a lot better! I got to drive through that trash to get to Keansburg everyday. Hazlet along route 36 is a dump, the rest of the town looks very nice! North Middletown is a dump! I would not live in any of those trashy towns! I would be embarassed. To call Keansburg a dump and call your other trailer park bayshore towns something more is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard! Come on, I think you have some intellgence and at least let others know that this whole bayshore area used to be bungalows at one time. In reality the closer to Keansburg the more value you have. My realtor couldn't believe the junk that was out there in the other bayshore towns. Thank God I chose Keansburg over the other bayshore towns!

Default Looking for info. on Keansburg re-development

Took a ride through Keansburg this past weekend looking at some real estate to possibly invest in..can someone update me on the development and any areas I should stay away from that are slated for development? I heard that the taxes have gone up recently, is that true? Has the recent tax hike pushed anyone out of there homes? Does anyone know what the median rents are in town?
