How about the Franklin Steak House?
I haven't been in several years, but there is another onto a long list of places that I really want to get back to. I've always liked this place.

It's certainly not a premier, high-end steakhouse -- but I've always like their burgers and steak sandwich. I wouldn't go there for steak tartare and dry-aged fillet with hollandaise sauce or a Luger-style porterhouse, but I always thought it was a nice local, steak sandwich, burger, etc. local tavern type of place.
I remember Scuttlebutts but had completely forgotten about the place.

Yeah, they sold Scuttlebutts maybe about a year ago (a moment of silence please). They sold it to the Ritacco Brothers, who obviously didn't fare well with it because it closed down completely. Then the Ritacco's moved right around the corner onto Franklin Ave and opened up a place called Midtown Burgers or something to that effect. I haven't eaten there, I'm still in mourning over Scuttlebutts lol.

Ps. I never was a huge fan of the Franklin Steakhouse either. Food was pretty good, but it sucked walking in there because it was like one big high school reunion with people who never amounted to much but liked to look cool hanging out there lol. Terrazza's is very good, but again, same owner as the steakhouse, same crowd that bounces back and forth from one to the other.

Well, like you said, the food is pretty good . . . and fortunately I didn't go to high school there, LOL. I don't know the other places but thanks for the heads up.
