Does it have to be AH? I know of some good long term rentals in Sea Bright - which is just down the road (and over the bridge) from AH.

ps ps ps!
I noticed you said FAMILY. If you have kids, I don't think you want your kids in AH schools. If you lived in Sea Bright - altho SB isn't exactly a FAMILY town - they would go to Oceanport schools which are great. Or you could also find a rental in Rumson for that amount - altho I don't know if it would have 4 bedrooms but they have great schools. Do you know anything about AH? It is an interesting area. Gorgeous. But really, IMHO, a place for single - or no-kid couples who commute to NYC and want total privacy.

Rumson is gorgeous, extemely expensive, and on the water. I don't know anything about rentals for the area, it's not an area of townhouses.

I might add that Atlantic Highlands elemnetary and middle school is just fine. Don't believe anything otherwise. The high school is questionable due to the fact that it is shared with the Highlands.

shows how much you know! there is no middle school!
where do you get your info from? it sure isn't accurate!

the 7th and 8th graders go to school in the high school building.
Henry Hudson is one of the few 7-12 schools in the state.

I am no fan of the local schools so I disagree with you saying that the schools are ok, visit the state's site where you can view the report cards and you'll see that the schools in the area are below state average.

There are plenty of good kids in town that go to the schools and who have moved on to good high schools. Okay, there is no actual independent middle school, irrelevant to me...grades 6 thru 8 do exist. You must be one of those people in town that talk quite a bit about improving the schools, yet send or sent your kids to private schools. Gotta love the support, you would think we live in Newark not Atl Highlands.
