Default Best schools for special education in Burlington Co?

My family and I will be moving to Burlington County this summer. I have two preschoolers, one with high functioning autism who will turn 4 in June. He is currently on an IEP and in a cross-categorical special education pre-school. The same setting will likely be appropriate next year. (He's too high functioning for autistic specific class.) I'm looking for the school district with the best special education program, specifically for pre-schoolers. (I'm hoping he can be mainstreamed with some services by Kindergarten.) If anyone has had any experiences with schools in Burlington County, I would SO APPRECIATE any feedback. My husband will be working on McGuire Air Force Base which is near Bordentown. We hope we can find a place not too far from there with good schools. Thank you all in advance for any help you can provide me.

You may want to look into the Burlington County Special Services school in Westampton. My friend's son is autistic and that is where he goes. He is older though, so I'll see if I can get more info for you and post later.

I would encourage you to look into the eeg biofeedback or neurotherapy field to see if that can help your children

Default Special Ed

Hello:

Check out Medford Schools, great place to live. I hear they have good Special Education. Plus Medford is near Mcguire approx 25 to 30 minute drive.

I lived in Southampton/Vincentown. They also have a good special ed team. My son went to the pre-school there, but he only had some motor skill issues. So I can't speak to autism.

Good Luck.

Default special education for autism

i will be recently moving to burlington county soon with my 6 year old son. I heard they have exceptional education for children with autism. I searched the web and found two districts that may suit his needs Medford and Edgewater Park. Do you have any suggestions about what school and district would be better for children with his needs...thanks for any help you may offer
