Realtor fee refund question (apartment, rent, landlord)

Hi all,

i signed up w.century 21 and found a apt. I paid the fee to them along w/the security deposit on Oct 11. When I went to pay the first month rent to the landlord on Nov 1, the apt was not as advertised. There was no refridgerator and there was mold on one of the walls. The landlord told me he would paint over it. I told the guy nevermind, and he said he would give me my deposit back. How do i either go about getting the money from the realtor, or have the realtor help me find a new apt?

There are quite a few things that do not add up here. However, the best I can advise is to ask your realtor for the money back and to help you find a new place.

Sounds like you didn't walk the apartment?
I would call the agent. Tell them you are not taking it.
