Olga's diner has been temporarily shut down by the health board, the state for back taxes, all sorts of issues with the management. I doubt it will survive long term whether the bypass is there or not. There are so many restaurant options in that area now, that only hardcore customers and seniors groups patronize it.

I don't know how Olga's stayed in business. I've eaten their a few times (taking my kids there before it closes for good). Ponzio is still the diner to go to.

BTW. I think Olga is opened once again.

Lately it seems to be operating month to month or week to week. Ponzio's is very good but there's a ton of very good diners in South Jersey. There's a great one in Voorhees, can't remember the name.

Speaking of the Shoprite at the circle. What's the deal with building a Petsmart and Circuit City next to it. CC just filed BK.

I do agree that they have to do something about that intersection. If they can get rid of the circle on 130S in Collingswood, they can do it there. It only make sense.

Circuit City is reorganizing under Chapter 11, not liquidating the business.

They may have gotten rid of that circle on 130 but it is the worst designed intersection I have ever seen and adds 10x the wait then the circle ever did. TOTAL WASTE and BAD PLANNING!

I would NEVER eat at Olga's. When we first moved here, we walked into that place and it smelled like a dirty mop. Yuck! Needless to say, we didn't stay, LOL!
I love Ponzios but their hostesses are really snotty.

I think the Marlton Diner is a little better than Ponzios. I was never treated poorly there.

So, at the end of the day, you're going to have more traffic in the CH area on already heavily taxed roads.
All I know is the last time I was at KOP it was so jammed I couldn't wait to get out! And I think I'm getting to that point with the Garden State Park area.
Btw isn't the KOP area a big employment area as well? From the times I've been up there I remember calling it 'little Philadelphia' b/c it's got all the traffic but with less crime

The times I've been to that ShopRite were not as bad as Sunday's trip to the Garden State Park one! Perhaps it was all the football heads getting ready for the eagles game that nite but it was packed!
