Default Working in Englewood Cliffs, need great schools, looking to rent

Hi everyone,

I have posted previously on this subject, but I do have another question for all of you.

Background: I am graduating from business school in May and I am taking a job in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. I have a wife and a daughter and will be expanding the family in the near future. I will not be purchasing a home at this time, but am looking to rent a two or three bedroom in a safe, family-friendly area. It also needs to have a great public school system. I am hoping to keep my commuting time to a maximum of 45 minutes.

Question: I have done a lot of research on the various towns I have been recommended with great schools, but am have had no luck finding apartment buildings/townhomes for rent in them. I've looked into Wycoff, Ho-Ho-Kus, Allendale, Ramsey, Alpine, Tenafly, and the list could go on. So, question is where do I look to find rentals in these areas? Will I only find houses for rent or are there actual buildings? I'm renting a car and heading to the area this weekend, so I'd love some suggestions on where to go. Also, one more thing, should I consider Westchester? How big of a pain is crossing the bridge everyday the direction I'd be going?

Thanks so much for your help!
