Read this article if you havent done so. Look at the picture of lowlifes lounging in the courtroom as if nothing is wrong. It is distgusting. They killed a barber shop patron and plotted to kill the witness. God only knows for what reason. Did someone question their fake gangsta lifestyle as they are from podunk Lakewood and Manchester? Or maybe their sloppy Lakewood fade would be laughed at by their older cousins in Newark?

Who do these guys think they are to go around and just kill at their own free will? Plotting to kill the witness, and his 17 year old girlfriend. Daily life all over America is turning into a war zone. Give these fools life and start showing the youth that there are consequences for trying to act tough with gang life. The FBI should hunt all these cowards down and put an end to them. But no, our country is too worried about locking up fat old Italian mobsters who are too busy selling internet porn and would never kill a woman/child.

I love Jersey & defend it whenever the situation arises, but I must say, Lakewood has zero redeeming value. It is a backwood slum in the middle of nowhere. People live their because they have no other choice.

Is New Jersey was live Vermont, I would want to stay here. Vermont is the safest state and has the least crime because can carry a gun concealed, don't need permits, etc. Basically, criminales are not going to a place where if they rape someone or put a gun to someone, every other person is gonna whip a gun out at them.

I feel New Jersey is really going down, and fast at that. I am trying and working on getting out of here as soon as possible. It's sad what it has become, makes me even a little sad. =(

Huh????
NJ is safe overall.
You are trying to connect gun laws to specific geographic & economic factors.
Square peg, round hole????

I would say he was equating the spreading out of gangs to the spreading of a communicable disease. They're both highly undesirable and need to be stopped for the well being of society.

Like it or not, HIV is one of the few diseases you have a HIGH amount of control over contracting. Unless you got it from a transplant, transfusion, or were born with it from your mother, 95% of HIV infections can be stopped with common sense.

A better analogy would have been using "cancer", but apparently the OP likes shock-posting.

Translation for those who need it: I was equating gang members sprouting up in an increasing number of towns in NJ, to the way the HIV virus pops up in an increasing number of people in a population as time goes on and more casual unprotection action is had. If you can use a computer you should get this without my explanation.

Do some of you have no valuable input into this topic that you would focus on my metaphor instead? This affects you, your home, who your kids go to school with, etc, and you should be concerned.
