commute from bogota to manhattan? (home, purchase, live in)

Hello,

My husband and I are looking to purchase a home in Bergen County. We saw a home we like (more pros than cons!) in Bogota but I am not clearly understanding what the commute to Manhattan is like from Bogota. Can someone help me understand the commute? Bus, train - what's best? What are the lines?

Hi Carolyn,

I live in Bogota and work in NYC myself. You coild have pick a town with the best commute into NYC. It takes 30 - 45 minutes on good days. The Bus lines are the 168 and 155. Where in the city are you? Are you far from the Port Authority? That would be were you catch the bus. The monthly commuter pass is only $99.00
