Hi,hope someone can answer this question for me. I have a friend who has a car registered in florida and the title is clear,no payments. only thing is title is missing. it was lost. her dad is the owner of the car and he is stuck out of the u.s. cant come back due to some immigration problem. the dmv says if they get a letter signed by father notorized they will be able to get a duplicate title. will dmv of nj do this or do they have to send it to florida? its all so messed up and confusing. here she has this car and cant drive it.
thanks
deb
