It was really noticeable! Usually when I know about things like this in advance I tell everyone I know and then for one reason or another I'm the only one that doesn't see it. Not this time! lol.

so THAT's what it was! I was driving home Monday night and saw the crescent moon and all these bright "stars" around it. It really bugged me out. Turns out 1 or 2 were planes, but I guess the other were Venus and Jupiter. I almost crashed looking at it. LOL It was beautiful.

Hello All, finally finished all my homework.

Not plugging and books here, but "The Dangerous Book for Boys", ( not dangerous, just a field guide type of book ) has a Chapter on Stars, there are also diagrams that you could copy which lists all the stars by name, and by month which they appear.
There is also a Dangerous Book for Girls..authors, Conn and Hal Iggulden

The full moon tonight will be the biggest one of the year as Earth's natural satellite reaches its closest point to our planet.

The clouds have cleared and I was lucky enough to squeeze off a few shots. Here are a few of the ones I shot. Enjoy!
