Default House prices in Robbinsville

I'm looking to buy a house with at least 3000-3200 sq feet on a 1/2 acre lot. I perfer new construction, since I've been hearing from everyone that builders are giving a lot of incentives for people to buy. However, I'm afraid of paying 650-700K for a house in Robbinsville and then having the price drop 50-100K in the next 6-12 months. Anyone have any comments about house prices staying stable in Robbinsville?

Thanks!

New homes require everything from toilet paper holders and towel racks to window coverings (even the basics) and sometimes appliances. Often you will also need landscape, trees and sometimes a lawn.

Weigh these costs vs buying an existing home. You may not love the decor of the previous owner, but you don't have to shell out thousands for these items.

Different scenarios work for different people, but don't rule out any category of home. Sometimes a 2-5 yr old house is a better deal then brand new.

In this economy "stability" is not a word used very often. I can tell you that Robbinsville is a nice area with lots of open space. Builders have slowed down considerably but are definitely in the "lets make a deal" at this time of year so you should have no problem finding a development that fits your criteria. If you are lucky (and I sure hope you are) by the time your newly constructed home is ready in about 1 year, the housing market will be on the rebound and you will start building equity immediately.
