Things to do for the holidays (neighborhoods, train, car)

Looking for ideas on things to do with the family during the holidays, such as the lights as the PNC arts center. Ideally CNJ would be best. Thanks for the input.

I don't know of any big organized activities, but you may look on some of your local towns' websites and see if there are any local happenings.

We like to drive through some of the surrounding towns and their neighborhoods and look at all the lights that people put up. You know, stop, get hot chocolate and drive around sightseeing.

Storybook Land in Little Egg Harbor does a whole Christmas Village thing all December long. Lights, Santa, train ride thru the village. I'm a big fan of the place although it's a bit of a drive for you!

Also checkout the website www.877trainride.com it's not CNJ but it maybe worth looking at...they do the whole Polar Express train ride with hot chocolate & everything...I haven't been myself (yet) but it's on the "to do" list...my kids LOVE the Polar Express....good luck & have fun!

Liz, it's in Egg Harbor not Little Egg Harbor. I am in Little Egg .

I did have a thread started somewhere about what to do for Christmas with the kids....

Don't go to PNC. It is 15.00 to ride around in your car and look at the crappy display of lights.
