Default Cranford, Westfield and Garwood information?

Hi Guys
Today we're finally going to look at some homes in these 3 areas. I' m really excited! I know pretty much about Cranfors and Westfield, but I have no clue what Garwood is like. Can anyone please fill me in about the schools. people and area?
Thanks so much!

Garwood is considered to be a blue collar town bordering Cranford and Westfield. The town has its own elementary and middle schools. Kids from Garwood will go to High School in Clark.
If you are a person who does not care much about the name of the town that you live in, then Garwood is a great choice.

The reason why I chose Cranford and Westfield is because of the school district and commute. And of course the downtown. I do prefer more of a white collar area, but if Garwood has good schools then that is more important then anything. I will look more into Garwood schools before I leave for my tours.
Thanks

If you compare the three towns, it is unlikely you will chose Garwood if your budget allows Cranford or Westfield. There's nothing wrong with Garwood, but at least aesthetically, it can't compare with the other two towns. The houses are generally smaller and closer together (more affordable though), and there's really no "downtown." Of course, both Cranford and Westfiled downtown areas are just minutes away. Garwood is quite tiny, less than a square mile in area.

Check on parking for the Garwood train station. I don't think there is any.

Absolutely no reason to choose Garwood over Cranford (or Wesrtfield). It's a small town that is highlighted by the fact it has a pathmark where nearby residents shop. Used to have a walgreens too, but that moved to Cranford last year.

And Kings.

Btw, the Walgreen's that moved to Cranford is only about a 1/4 mile or less from Pathmark in Garwood. Garwood also has the only bowling alley nearby.

but i'll check out the garwood one...

oh, yeah, more things it has: taco bell, home depot (used to have a KFC too, but that seems to have died). Yep, if you need to go shopping, garwood's it ;-)

I think they decided to remake some of their stores from the ground up.

It's not much to look at, inside or out...kinda tacky, with a tacky bar attached. But kinda fun too. On North Ave.
