Defenitely! I graduated from CHS back in 2000 and even back then overcorwding bas ridiculous. I can only imagine how it is now.

It takes me 45 minutes (or less) from the Passaic train station to 33rd PATH station. I imagine a bus should be 30/35 min to port authority from clifton. It used to be under 1/2 hr from Lyndhurst years ago...

Default Crime in clifton
I thought Clifton was one of the nicer towns close to NYC. Perhaps the proximity to Paterson?
I too have lived in Clifton on and off (mostly on) since a little boy back in 1980. For the most part, my experience has been positive (i.e. my house was never robbed nor was I ever personally attacked).

Many people are concerned that clifton is getting more like passaic and paterson, which both have higher crime rates. When I read through the Police Blotter section of the Clifton Dateline Journal, I do notice a disturbing trend toward violence and theft (i.e. people getting attacked/robbed down on Lexington, gas station attendants getting robbed). My brother says that it's nothing compared to the blotter in the paterson paper.

I think for the most part, however, the source of violence and theft are from people coming into Clifton.

Let's keep Clifton looking and feeling beautiful, people. Keep smiling and spreading good cheer !

Sincerely,
Bob
