Default Townhouse Rentals in Princeton?

Anyone know a good site where I can search for these?

Also any other areas near Princeton that also have good schools?

There aren't too many condo/townhomes in the Princetons (boro and township). I did find this on realtor.com-
Princeton, NJ, Real Estate Listings and Princeton, NJ Condo/Townhouse/Co-Op for Sale - REALTOR.com®

Montgomery (just north of Princeton) has a great school district but limited townhomes. The zips there are 08502 and 08558. Be aware that a couple of other towns share that zip but not that school district.

Cranbury (08512) sends their kids to Princeton High School but I am not aware of any townhomes in that town. Oh and part of East Windsor shares that zip, very different HS experience.

West Windsor/Plainsboro share a good school district. Not too many townhomes in West Windsor (08550) but you might have some luck in Plainsboro (08536).

There are also several townhomes in West Windsor on the Princeton Twp. border (Canal Pointe), but they have Princeton addresses (08540).

Sunil's Dad,
Quite true, but they are mostly for sale (not rentals) and that development (Canal Point) is so popular there are few for sale.
There is a dearth of rentals in this area, but I found this site that shows some of the the available properties-
Rent.com: Search Results

Why is Canal Pointe so popular?

We have a few friends who live there and they like the ammenities (pool, tennis, play grounds), the proximity to the train station, Princeton and Market Fair. The grounds are pretty well maintained and the management is supposed to be pretty good but I hear the HOA fees are substantial.

I think the Princeton address without the Princeton price tag is a big factor.

I think for several reasons:

1) Close to Route 1 but also set back.
2) Proximity to Princeton Junction.
3) Nicely maintained (at least from what I've seen from the outside).
4) Great schools in the area.
5) Great walking and jogging paths.

Hi Onrway2clt,

Are you looking to buy or rent?

We moved down to West Windsor recently (primarily for the schools). As mentioned by JerseyJ West Windsor/Plainsboro has an excellent school disctrict. I checked out many locations before moving down so I should beable to help you. There are many rentals available in West Windsor which have just reduced their rents. These include Windsor Woods, Mews at Princeton Junction and Avalon Watch. If you are looking to buy there is Canal Point, Windsor Ponds (which is also much sought after) and Estates at Princeton Junction. Moderator cut: no solicitiation
Hope this helps.

onrway;
as others have mentioned, there are many very good-excellent schools districts in central NJ, nearby to princeton. many folks like to buy the princeton zip code but schools are not neccessarily princeton schools, others mentioned are more than comparable anyway.
