Full Moon, Saturday 1/10
Ok, night sky fans. Tonight will be the biggest full moon of 2009. I hope it's reflecting off a blanket of snow by my house, but we'll probably just get rain.

Keep the faith. Maybe find a big field to look at the reflection. I too am in central NJ and am often disappointed by the low snowfall totals.
Hoping for a big blanket just the same - I'm such a big kid!

You just moved in?? Congratulations. Yes, I always seem to be one of the few when it comes to being excited for snow.
Snow angels remind me of when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter. Got down, made one, and couldn't get up! My dh stood there laughing like he#@!!!

Well we moved at the end of the summer but I didn't realize till now that we don't get much snow.
That is so funny about not being able to get up!! I hope he didn't leave you down there for too long.

No, not long at all.
We go through phases. You may have a year or two where there is a lot of snow, then nothing for a couple years, then back again.
Normal fluctuating weather stuff, but disheartening if you are a snow lover like us.... I still make the kids wear their pj's inside out if they are calling for snow on the news.
How do you like central NJ and where did you come from?

It's snowing!! And sticking!!! I hope it doesn't change over. I LOVE it here - we're in Hazlet. We moved/escaped from Brooklyn. People are unbelievably nice. Kids act like kids. I pass teenagers on the street and they're not cursing and screaming about sex. I still work in NYC but every night I get to come back. We really couldn't be happier. Have you always lived here?
