I believe 609 covers all of Mercer County. No offense intended, but much of this board is extremely ignorant about SJ. You really have no clue.

There is most definitely an anti-SJ bias or bent on this board, in general, I must say. Not from everyone, (and we've gone through this before) but there seems to be a general cloud of ignorance (perhaps it's ambivalance) towards anything south of Trenton that's not proximate to the shore communities off the GSP. For those of you who have lived there and didn't like it, you get a pass. However, I suspect for every one person who has lived there, and didn't like it, there are probably 9 others who haven't lived there, and declare they don't like it anyway.

alright, maybe weird wasn't the right word. it's clearly different down there in Cape May County, though. and as far as I knew 609 covered mainly that area.

by the way, I'm from the 973.

Ya know, yur right! Trenton is in Mercer Co. (609) and they are WEIRD! The rest of 609 is jus fine, lotsa nice folk, nice land, farmin' country! I waz jus skinnin' some squirrels for vittles tonight and thinkin' that 609 ain't such a bad place.
Granny rolled up by the fur-she's stove up, young'uns in the street playin' bat the possum, life ain't so bad in 609.
But we cud use yur hep doin' sompin about them weird folks in Trenton.

So I'm beggin' ya'll in 973 area code....pleez hep us!

Oh Puh-leeze!

For those who never made a trek out of Paramus (Insert other name here) mall, you cannot call other areas weird. Trust me, I think where I live is Fantastic. I would have loved to have moved to my home county (Monmouth) on my return to NJ but I gotta say...I live in a great part of the state.

If I'm thinking of the same hospital, our mortgage broker's relative is an RN and she was recently told to take a pay cut amounting to almost 50% or to leave.

Better check out the employment situation at whatever facilities you are considering before actually making that "leap".
