Def a north jersey thing almost every deli n bodega in orange nj. Newark nj irvington east orange even some in montclair call an italian cheesburger with burger patties mayo ketchup cheese fries onions on a hoagie roll

I too grew up in essex county n never heard of pizza burger only italian cheeburgers from delis n bodegas and food trucks in montclair east orange newark irvington maplewood south orange etc

So did I and that's all I ever heard them called"Pizzaburgers".Don's Drive In on South Orange Ave had one that was pretty damn good!
