As another poster mentioned try Craigslist. I am so sorry our timing was "off"..... I just gave away 70+ boxes last week after posting them on Craigslist. Sorry!

You can try www.boxquest.com - they sell used moving boxes.

We got ours at Home Depot and Lowe's - I didn't think about other creative sources at the time.

I have new neighbors who just moved in and will let you know if I find that they have unpacked and ready to get rid of their boxes.

I got mine from Shop Rite. The boxes that eggs are shipped in; also the floral dept. They're sturdy and have handles. Another place I found them was a toy store. They had some really large ones and they were also heavy.

UHaul's price wasn't bad. The boxes are excellent especially if you want to use them again.

I ended up buying a few rubbermade bins, they were the best because I could reuse them.

FWIW, be careful of boxes you bring home as you don't want roaches...

Craigslist today had someone in Edison offering some up. also, join your local Freecycle. If no one has any posted you can post a wanted ad. You will probably find them there. Beware of grocery store boxes...little bugs can be hiding in them.

If you belong to Sams club, they sell a bunch fairly inexpensive.

Definitely if you have clothes, pillows, comforters and all that I just threw them into heavy duty garbage bags and tied them up and it worked well also

They also sell boxes at storage places.

When I moved I got all the free boxes I could handle from my local liquor store (Canals)........they are not huge but you can pack plenty into them....they are easy to carry......and they are free !!!! Just ask politely and they have a special pile of free boxes.

Check with your local Uhaul. Mine has a box for people to drop off their unwanted boxes. It's a give/take system, not a bad idea at all.
