On schools, I believe the younger grades are within the town, but the HS kids go to Westwood.

On commute, no train lines run through the town, but I do believe there's buses that go to Port Authority. And it's convenient to both route 17 and the GSP.

On taxes, I believe they are comparable to the other towns in the area. Taxes do not include garbage collection (you hire a contractor for that), and the town requires you to use these "special" garbage bags that are more expensive and there are limitations on where you can purchase them.

On reputation, I think it's overall pretty positive. Nice homes, nice people. Surrounded by nice towns.

Hope that helps.

And you'll lose count of the number of times that you have to explain which "Washington" you live in.

Washington Twp schools are lumped under "Westwood Regional schools". It's a nice area, but doesn't have a downtown, just a strip mall.
