yup, i lived a few blocks away. my most vivid memory down there is my brother taking me on the bumper cars, and I screamed and cried the entire time. LOL

Used to go to the 2 Guys on Rt. 35 in Middletown and to the Belvidere pool and roller rink in Keansburg.
There used to be a ferry service from Keansburg to NYC and a pier with music and dancing on the week-ends in the 30's and 40's.
