Alleged drunk Wall police Capt. gets 500K and retires
APP.com reports. This guy will retire with over 100K a year, full bennies, and 500K tax free. And people wonder why this state is in trouble. Talk about hitting the lottery.

luck was in his favor. The article says he is resigning. It should have read he is retiring with a fat pension and 500K tax free. He probably has another township job lined up, like the business administrator or director of public works. Not bad for a 43 YOA guy. If he lives for 40 years it will cost the state about 5 million for this alleged drunk.

they found him not guilty because they claim the officer who arrested him was way too happy to be a witness. During his DWI escapade, he was pulled over a Manasquan cop and let go by flashing his badge. An officer in his own department caught him a few miles later. Not for nothing, but if he got pulled over twice in a 15 minute span after leaving the bar, I have no doubt he was drunk.
