I found out that a coffee shop in Morristown allows dogs. Anything else like this? I always thought it was a health code violation but??? I am not complaining!

i think that dogs should not be allowed in any public places unless it is at petsmart or the person is blind. i would be very mad if someone was drinking and their dog bit me.

dogs that are trained and help the blind. I have a female boxer/pitbull mix. I could not trust to take her in a coffee shop or bar. I would be sued if she bit someone. she is a nice dog but she is gets weird around people so it is best if dogs stay home.

I think it is important to take trained dogs out but if you haven't done the work then you should just keep your dog inside and on a leash around no one.

Pitbull !!! No wonder your worried. Can't imagine why anyone would want this breed as a pet.......especially when its owner even admits it gets weird !!!!

I believe most dog problems stem from lack of exercise, lack of leaving the house, neglect, boredom, etc. most dogs are like prisoners - they get out like 3x a day for 5 minutes each... wouldnt you be angry?
I would love to see how quickly walking a dog that acts out 5+ miles a day changes him or her. I am not on the cesar milan thinking but I believe there is something to You walking the dog vs the dog walking you.

Anyway this was a post about where Ican bring my WELL BEHAVED dog ... this place in Morristown was a pleasant surprise for me.

There is truth in what you say but lets face it.......pitbulls were bred to attack/kill and its in their genes....walking them more often isn't going to change their instinct and acting on what they were bred to do..... perhaps its probably best that their only walk of the day isn't to a coffee shop ?
